I am moved by nature, color, texture and stories. Wool is full of texture and is one of the world’s most amazing gifts. I love everything about it.

I am also a reader. Stories move my soul and often those images in my head will make their way to the yarn I create.

Each hank of yarn is my art offering to other artists. I might begin the story, but you will carry it forward and create your own narrative.

I crocheted this heart from hand spun yarn and now I have spun some more to finish embellishing it. I hope to have it finished over the weekend.

I never tire of the beauty of wool, whether in its natural state or dyed, blended and carded with shiny bits. I see sunshine on a field glistening with morning dew. Art is everywhere as long as we open our hearts and eyes to see it.

These are flowers from Mother’s Day. Obviously they have fulfilled their lifespan; however, there is something beautifully poignant about them. I had to capture the moment as it will never come in just this way again. Inspiration is all around
